PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Tranmere Rovers

Justin Edinburgh’s side play host on the back of progressing in to the Fourth Round of the FA Trophy after the O’s defeated Dover Athletic in a dramatic 3-4 win with David Mooney notching the winner in injury time. Orient will return to league action when the Super White Army visit.

Fourth placed Tranmere make the trip to E10 in good form and have only lost one of their last nine fixtures which was in a shock 2-5 defeat away to AFC Fylde.

Last time out, Rovers enjoyed a 3-0 win over Ebbsfleet United when Andy Cook scored early on before a James Norwood brace sealed all three points for the Merseyside team.

The reverse fixture at Prenton Park ended in 2-1 defeat after Matt Harrold’s opener was cancelled out by goals from Andy Cook and James Norwood in front of BT Sports cameras.


New signing Sam Ling will be available for selection for this weekend, the defender made the short move from Dagenham & Redbridge on Wednesday and returns to the O’s after two seasons at Victoria Road.

Midfielder Alex Lawless is also available for selection this weekend after serving his suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards this season.
