PREVIEW: Chester v Leyton Orient

Justin Edinburgh’s side make the trip on the back of a 0-1 win at AFC Fylde on Saturday when Macauley Bonn’s 42nd minute spot kick earned the O’s the victory.

Chester have been struggling for form of late, having only won once since January 6, when they took three points back to Cheshire from Ebbsfleet but have since managed draws against Hartlepool and AFC Fylde.

However, last time out The Blues defeated Eastleigh 3-1 thanks to a Ross Hannah brace and James Akintunde’s injury time third goal to stop their run of six games without a win.

In the reverse fixture Macauley Bonne’s 6th minute opener was cancelled out by first half goals from James Akintunde and Ross Hannah. Jamie Sendles-White was on the receiving end of a red card moments before the break and then Jobi McAnuff secured a point for the O’s in the 60th minute.

Jobi McAnuff remains a doubt after the midfielder sustained a neck injury during training last week while defender Myles Judd remains a doubt due to a groin injury sustained in training.
