The youngsters met the players and had the opportunity to ask them anything – which included questions about Leyton Orient, the team and what it’s like to be a professional footballer. Afterwards George, Josh and Macauley signed team photos and joined in with the basketball session.

James Court, Lead Development Coach, Leyton Orient Trust said: “A huge thanks to George, Josh and Macauley for taking time out of their busy schedules to meet, chat and play with the children – they were buzzing to meet them!”

Working with nine other football clubs across London, One Goal, funded by L&Q housing, is a sport and creative arts holiday programme aiming to use sport to involve, motivate and inspire young people across the city. The multi-sports sessions are free to attend for 5 – 21 year olds and take place during school holidays at the SCORE centre, Leyton and Loxford Leisure Centre, Redbridge.
