PREVIEW: Leyton Orient v Maidenhead United

access_time 3 years ago

Justin Edinburgh’s men host Maidenhead on the back of a 1-3 win in Guiseley on Good Friday thanks to a Jobi McAnuff brace followed by an injury time strike from David Mooney.

Visitors Maidenhead make the trip to East London after their Friday fixture at home to Sutton United was abandoned at half time. Sutton were 2-3 ahead at the break before the referee decided the pitch was unplayable.

The two sides last meeting was on Bank Holiday back in August when Macauley Bonne’s early header ensured the O’s 0-1 victory at York Road.

Orient have been in good form of late after they recorded their first home win of 2018 at home to Woking, the side went on to make it back to back victories with the win over Guiseley last week Friday.

Edinburgh is likely to have the same side available to select from as he did at Guiseley on Good Friday. Goalkeeper Charlie Grainger may return to the bench after he missed Friday’s match due to the birth of his child.

Forward Matt Harrold is set for a spell on the side-line after he injured his hamstring in the victory over Woking.
