Who are Dream Team?

Dream Team provide the UK’s leading Fantasy Football game. A staple product of millions of football fan’s season as they pit their wits against each other to become the next Pep Guardiola or the next Justin Edinburgh and win huge cash prizes in the process.

What will the Dream Team logo look like on the shirts?

We have mutually agreed with Dream Team that a really simple, clean and on-brand logo will be on the shirts, which will soon be unveiled.
When will the shirts go on sale?

We are working closely with Just Sport to produce the kits and we anticipate that fans will be able to purchase their kits well in advance of pre-season. We will make the all-important announcement of all of the new kit designs in the next couple of weeks.

What logo will feature on the shirts for under 18s?

We are working closely with Dream Team to potentially place a Charity partner on the shirts for all under 18s.

Will The Sun logo appear anywhere on the shirts?

No, we are very proud of linking up with Dream Team and the power of the brand it has across football. It will be the Dream team logo that will also appear consistently across all additional advertising platforms.

Is this a good deal for the Club?

We were in discussions with seven different companies and brands that varied in size, some large local companies as well as some national and even international companies too. The proposal that was put forward by News Group (The owner of the Dream Team brand) was not only exceptionally attractive in terms of the monetary value that enables us to further invest in the playing budgets and into improving the fan experience, but also the extensive regular coverage via the News Group’s publications, online channels and social media platforms. A Club of any scale would hugely benefit from such a partnership. As London`s second oldest professional Football Club we can look forward to receiving the additional coverage and exposure.

What do Dream Team obtain from the agreement?

We have worked very closely with the owners of the Dream Team brand over the last few months. They very much want to play a key role in telling the story of being a Leyton Orient supporters as well as being a football fan in the lower leagues. They fully buy into the vision that we have got as a Club to return to the English Football League at the earliest opportunity and we will be doing everything we can to try and enable that to be a reality for the coming 2018/19 season. The Dream Team very much want to share and engage in the journey with their subscribers, readers and online viewers.

Were there other deals on the table for the club?

There were several deals that were pitched to us, this deal was the most rewarding for the Club. The Dream Team package was overall very appealing for the Club and one that we will look to nurture further in the coming two seasons in the desire that this marks the start of a long term commercial arrangement for the Club.

How long is the agreement?

As it stands the agreement is for two seasons, but we will be working very closely with Dream Team to develop a mutually beneficial long-term partnership

What shirt sizes will be available?

We have been working very closely with Just Sport to ensure we have an extensive range to cater for all of our fans.

Will I be able to buy online?

All shirts will be available for purchase both in-store and online, including the home, away and soon to be launched additional kit.

What activity do Dream Team have planned with the first team?

We will be working closely with Dream Team to provide regular, fun, engaging, quality content based around the Club’s first team, academy and other off-field teams to really bring the Club to life. For example, we plan to showcase what work goes into matchday preparation, travelling to away games, preparation of the pitch, hospitality and more. All of this will be produced with the aim of providing engaging content for our fans while nurturing a new partnership that we hope will help support our overall objective of returning to the English Football League.

Do Dream team have any engagement plans for the fans?

Yes absolutely, while this is currently in the developmental stage for the coming season.

Does this partnership aim to bring new fans to the club using Dream Team’s platforms and influence?

As we tell the story of the life of a National League Club and fan base we hope that will resonate with real football fans, particularly those that have become disengaged and potentially priced-out of their top-flight Club. Our objective – providing real football in the Capital.
