Justin Edinburgh’s men come into the game on the back of a hard-fought win over Concord Rangers on Saturday.
The O’s fell behind just minutes into the game through a fantastic Billy Knott strike before a Nana header doubled Concord’s advantage. However, the O’s pulled themselves level through two Macauley Bonne strikes before Josh Koroma won the game late on.
St Albans City will be looking to push on from a decent 2017/18 campaign that saw them finish in 8th position in the National League South, just outside of the play-off places. Ian Allinson’s men were last in action against League One side Luton Town on Saturday, losing 3-6 in an entertaining clash.
Luton went ahead through Danny Hylton and Jorge Grant before Ralston Gabriel, before two further goals by Hylton extended the League One side’s lead. Arthur Read made it 1-5, before David Moyo pulled a goal back. James Collins restored the four goal parity, before Moyo found himself on the scoresheet again to end an enthralling clash!
O’s midfielder Dale Gorman has returned to full training this week, but today’s match against St Albans is likely to be just too soon for him to feature.
The O’s will also be without James Dayton, Joe Widdowson and Ruel Sotiriou, all three missing as a precautionary measure with slight knocks.
Tickets are available on the gate this evening.
