Justin Edinburgh’s men come in to the fixture on the back of a convincing 0-3 win at Harrogate Town to send the O’s top of the league.

The win stretched the unbeaten run to 12 games as a Jobi McAnuff brace and Macauley Bonne stunner secured the points.

Brad Quinton’s men have found life in the National League hard since their promotion season last term.

The Iron have only on one of their twelve league fixtures, drawing three and tasted defeat eight times which leaves the side sitting in 23rd place.

Edinburgh is likely to have a similar squad to the one that travelled to Harrogate Town available to pick from tonight as the head coach has named an unchanged side for eight consecutive games.

However, Sam Ling and James Brophy travelled with the side to North Yorkshire but saw the match come just too early to make a return, with the pair available Edinburgh may look to rotate his squad tonight.

Orient have sold out their initial allocation of 1,300. Braintree have allocated a further 300 tickets to the club which will go on sale from Braintree’s turnstiles at 6:15pm this afternoon, fans are advised to arrive early to best avoid disappointment.

The referee for tonight’s clash at Braintree will be Chris Rock, assisted by Abigail Marriott and Matthew Morrison with Mark Ames as the fourth official. Rock has taken charge of Orient once this season, in the 1-2 victory over Maidstone in August. So far this season, the Hertfordshire born official had brandished 12 yellow cards and two penalties in six National League games.
