NEWS: Five reasons to pay £5 this Saturday

access_time 3 years ago

It’s the international break this weekend so with no Premier League or Championship action taking place, we’d like to invite you to join us with your family and friends in celebrating Non League Day at The Breyer Group Stadium, where you can watch real football in the capital at a bargain price.

Still to be convinced? Here are five great reasons to spend five pounds on a ticket for this Saturday’s game:

1)     Goals galore

The O’s have been firing in the goals this season hitting 30 in 15 league games so far, making us amongst the top-scoring teams in the Vanarama National League. That includes 3-0 home wins over Dover Athletic and Solihull Moors and a 3-1 win over Barnet, whilst our striker Macauley Bonne has struck 10 goals already, including one in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Maidenhead United.

2)     Really feel part of the action

Here at The Breyer Group Stadium you’re close to the action. There’s no being sat miles back or in an upper tier peering down at players. At Leyton Orient you’ll be close to the pitch wherever you sit meaning you can really feel involved in the game.

Plus unlike many modern football stadiums, each stand here has a different feel and different characteristics that combine for a great mixture of the old and new. The East Stand dates back to 1956 and gives fans sitting here a real sense of the history of the O’s, whilst the Baskin Robbins North Family Stand is perfect for children and will allow you to sit with plenty of other young families. The Q2W Tommy Johnston South Stand offers superb views from a raised position and houses a friendly supporters bar underneath, accessible pre-match and at half-time, whilst the more modern West Stand offers the best facilities in the ground and houses our corporate hospitality.

3)     Free beer

Thanks to our front-of-shirt sponsors, Dream Team, the first 1,500 fans through the turnstiles on Saturday will receive one voucher each for a free beer or soft drink to be redeemed at our catering units on the day. How awesome is that? A huge ‘cheers’ to Dream Team for their continued support of the O’s.

4)     O-Nuts are back!

This game will also see the return of O-Nuts, our very own donuts created by Dunkin’ Donuts. The O-Nut is a premium Dunkin’ Donut filled with Bavarian Crème filling and topped with a one-of-a-kind white chocolate flavoured O’s Crest. These exclusive Donuts will be available around the ground whilst stocks last at the following prices:

1 £2
3 £5
6 £9
12 £17

5)     90 minutes entertainment for just £5

What else can you do for £5 on a Saturday afternoon in London? Whether it’s a trip to the cinema or bowling alley, visiting your nearest soft play with the kids, heading out for lunch at a nice restaurant or an afternoon down the pub with your mates, it’s doubtful you’ll be getting much change from £20.

Instead you could potentially be having a great afternoon at Leyton Orient for just £10 thanks to a £5 ticket, a free beer*, a £3 programme and an O-Nut for £2.

Remember you can buy your tickets for Saturday’s game online at, in-person at the O’s ticket office at the Breyer Group Stadium (open Monday to Friday 9.30am-4.30pm) or by telephone on 0208 8926 1010. We can’t wait to see you here!

*Terms and Conditions: Each voucher entitles the holder to receive one bottle of Heineken or one soft drink at Leyton Orient FC on Saturday 13 October 2018 only, subject to availability. This voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used with any other promotion. Photocopies will not be accepted. Leyton Orient FC observe the Challenge 25 policy.
