Justin Edinburgh’s Orient enter the fixture in good form and on the back of an emphatic 4-0 victory against Havant & Waterlooville at The Breyer Group Stadium.

Goals from Macauley Bonne, Josh Coulson and Charlie Lee secured the three points that sent the O’s back to the top of the National League.

Eastleigh come into the fixture in decent form, they have won four of their last five league games but tasted FA Cup defeat at the hands of Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Last time out, Josh Hare’s goal after 57 minutes secured the three points for the Spitfires which now sees them sit in tenth place with 26 points, ten points behind the O’s who are the league leaders.

The last time the sides met was March 13, this year when the points were shared in a goalless draw at the Silverlake Stadium.

In his post-match interview, Edinburgh explained Sam Ling came off as a precaution after a knock and that he hoped that he would be able to recover in time for tonight’s fixture.

Otherwise, the O’s are again at full strength, minus Joe Widdowson who serves the last of his three-game suspension.

The referee for tomorrow’s fixture is James Oldham, he’ll be assisted by Ciaran Barlow, Joshua Ainscow and with Daniel Berry as the fourth official. Oldham has taken charge of seven National League fixtures and handed out 23 yellow cards, one red card and four penalties so far. This is his first season in the National League and he’ll be taking charge of Orient and Eastleigh for the first time in his career.
