Justin Edinburgh’s men were in league action last weekend when Jobi McAnuff’s first-half strike was cancelled out by Nicke Kabamba’s goal seconds before the break.

Maidenhead will travel to E10 full of confidence after they recorded their first win since early January thanks to James Akintunde’s 74th minute goal which earned the Magpies three points at home for the first-time since Boxing Day.

Sam Ling returned to training following his absence last weekend due to tonsillitis, while Jordan Maguire-Drew was also in training mid-week following a calf injury which kept him side-lined for a week.
Marvin Ekpiteta was in light training following an ankle injury which he sustained early on during our FA Trophy fixture at Wrexham AFC last month but will most likely see the fixture come too soon to return.
Forward Josh Koroma continues to recover from a hamstring injury which he sustained against Maidstone United at the back end of last month. The 20-year old was out on the training pitch mid-week working with the medical team to strengthen his hamstring.
The return of popular striker Jay Simpson was confirmed earlier this week and his international clearance successfully came through on Thursday afternoon meaning Simpson is available for selection should Edinburgh see fit.

Simon Mather is the man in charge of this afternoon’s fixture against Maidenhead United, Martyn Holmes and Robin Cox will be his assistants with Stuart Cheek as the fourth official. Mather had the whistle for our September fixture against FC Halifax Town when he awarded a penalty against Marvin Ekpiteta for an adjudged foul on Dale Southwell before he converted. So far this season, Mathers has officiated 12 National League games this season and handed out 32 yellow cards, one red card and four penalties.
