Ruel Sotiriou and Hector Kyprianou have been called-up to the Cyprus Under-19 side for their Euro 2019 qualification efforts this month. The Cyprus side have been drawn in Group 6 of the Elite Round, with the top placed team in each group securing qualification to the full tournament in Armenia in July.
The duo will face current European Championship holders Portugal at the home of Liga NOS side Gil Vicente this afternoon before ties against Scotland and Turkey on March 23 and March 26.
Furthermore, Shadrach Ogie has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-18 side that will face Turkey twice in Istanbul.
Ogie was selected by new Head Coach Andy Reid, who played for Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Sunderland. The 17-year-old’s games will take place on March 21 and March 23.
