The O’s Head Coach was recognised for a fantastic 2018/19 season that saw him lead the E10 side to the National League title while also securing a place in the Buildbase FA Trophy final on May 19.
Edinburgh beat out legendary English cricketer Sir Alastair Cook and UFC fighter Arnold Allen to win the award, which was presented by Frank Lampard Snr at the event in Chigwell.
The O’s Honorary President Barry Hearn was also awarded the Bobby Moore Lifetime Achievement award, presented by the late England Captain’s wife Stephanie Moore, to recognise a distinguished career throughout a number of sports.
The inaugural awards also acted as a fundraiser for The Pride of Essex Sports Foundation, a new foundation which will support young people in Essex in taking the first steps of gaining professional qualifications in the sports which they love.
