Leyton Orient are delighted to confirm midfielder James Dayton has signed a one-year contract extension in E10, with the option for a further year.
The 30-year-old has made 59 appearances for the O’s since signing on August 1, 2017, and was a major part of the squad that won the National League title last season. A tricky winger on the pitch, Dayton is popular for his infectious sense-of-humour off it.
Interim Head Coach Ross Embleton told leytonorient.com, “We’re absolutely delighted. With someone like James, it is easy to forget how good of a footballer he is and the impact that he has. His personality and the way he imposes himself on the group means he has a significant role to play off-the-pitch, and just as important one on it”
