The O’s welcome Cheltenham Town to the Breyer Group Stadium for the opening game of the 2019/20 season (3pm kick-off).

It will sure to be an emotional day as the O’s plan a series of tributes following the tragic passing of Head Coach Justin Edinburgh on June 8, 2019. The O’s will play their first match in League Two following promotion last season.

The visitors are Michael Duff’s Cheltenham Town who finished in 16th position in League Two last season. They have added eight players to their squad this summer, including forwards Rueben Reid and Tahvon Campbell.

The O’s continue to be without some of the longer-term absentees with James Dayton still recovering from his broken ankle while Jobi McAnuff underwent successful surgery on his groin on Thursday.

Orient will be hopeful to be with defender Myles Judd who missed last week’s friendly and forward Lee Angol, who fell ill during the week. New signing Louis Dennis will be hopeful of inclusion in the squad.
