After last weekend’s result at Peterborough United, Jordan Adeyemi and Finlay Lovatt notched a goal each to overcome the Dons by two goals.
The visitors got the game underway but it was the Orient youngsters who took the lead inside the opening 8 minutes.
Brilliant one-touch play between Jeremie Sivi and Antony Papadopoulous released the latter in behind the Dons’ defence on the right wing.
The midfielder showed great awareness to cut the ball back to Adeyemi who waited and tapped home from 4-yards out.
The lead was doubled with just five minutes of the half left. Bradley McClenaghan capitalised on a slip from a defender in white, wide on the left flank.
McClenaghan then advanced in to the box and squared for Lovatt to coolly slot home, sending the ‘keeper the wrong way in the process.
The visitors clinched a goal back with no more than 20-minutes on the clock. The forward was threaded through, behind the O’s back-line and placed the ball in to the back of the net to make the scores 2-1.
Second-half sub Kevin Frempong went close to stretching our lead close to the end, however the forward could only drag his shot wide of the far post after working his way in to the box on the left wing.
