PREVIEW: Stevenage (H)

access_time 2 years ago

We’re back at The Breyer Group Stadium for tomorrow afternoon’s League Two fixture against Stevenage.

Since our last outing in E10, we have played twice on the road tasting defeat once in the league against Macclesfield Town, while falling out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening in Plymouth.

Stevenage are yet to earn a victory this season. After their opening day defeat at Salford City, Boro have been on the wrong end of results against Exeter City and Southend United in the Carabao Cup.

Dale Gorman, Myles Judd, Louis Dennis and Joe Widdowson all made their first starts of the season on Tuesday night at Plymouth and Ross Embleton continues to have plenty of options to select a starting XI from.

Jamie Turley and James Dayton are slowly returning to training while Job McAnuff recovers from an operation on his groin earlier this month.

Ticket information for tomorrow’s game can be found here.

This afternoon’s referee is Lee Swabey, he will be assisted by Christopher Wade and Garry Maskell with Aaron Farmer as the fourth official.

Last term, Swabey took charge of nine League Two fixtures and handed out 30 yellow cards, one straight red card and a single penalty. His last time in-charge of the O’s was in a three goal defeat against Grimsby Town, back in 2017.
