The O’s make the trip having gained a point in the weekend’s fixture against Stevenage. Meanwhile Mansfield Town recorded their first win of the new campaign against Carlisle United on Saturday. Their other fixtures this term have all ended in a 2-2 draw, twice against Morecambe and once on the opening day against Newport County.
Orient last visited Mansfield in January 2017 and suffered a 2-0 defeat on the day. Sam Sargeant and Myles Judd were both names as substitutes by then manager Andy Edwards.
Ross Embleton is likely to have a similar squad at his disposal to the side named at home on the weekend.
Spurs loanee George Marsh is likely to travel with the team to Mansfield and could be in-line for his Orient debut tonight.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE
Sebastian Stockbridge is tonight’s referee, he will be assisted by Paul Newhouse and Richard Woodward with Peter Gooch as the fourth official. Stockbridge last took charge of Orient back in April 2015, he oversaw a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United in League One. Josh Wright and Jobi McAnuff both made sub appearances that day. So far this term, Stockbridge has awarded eight yellow cards and two penalties in three appearances across the EFL.
