The O’s welcome Swindon Town to a bumper Breyer Group Stadium tomorrow (15:00 KO).

Ross Embleton’s men secured an excellent 2-0 win over League 1 side Southend United on Tuesday night in the Trophy, goals coming from Dan Happe and Dale Gorman.

Swindon Town come into the game sat in 5th position, with three wins, two draws and one defeat from their opening six games.

In their most recent match, Richie Wellens’ side defeated Morecambe 3-1 with goals coming from Eoin Doyle, who netted twice, and Jerry Yates. All three goals came in the opening 21 minutes.

Ross Embleton is hopeful that he’ll be able to welcome back defender Joe Widdowson, who trained fully on Wednesday.

However, defender Myles Judd is a doubt following an illness that forced him off on Tuesday and Jamie Turley underwent surgery this week on his troublesome groin, after the defender on Twitter revealed two steroid injections were unsuccessful.

Tomorrow’s referee will be Kevin Johnson, assisted by Gregory Read and Joseph Stokes with Paul Kelly as the fourth official. Johnson last took charge of the O’s 1-2 defeat to Mansfield Town, Sam Sargeant was named on the bench during the fixture as the referee booked Ollie Palmer and Liam Kelly. The Somerset born official has taken charge of six games this season, handing out 16 yellow cards, three red cards and three penalties.
