Leyton Orient is delighted to announce defender Sam Ling has agreed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the Club until 2021.
The 22-year old has made a strong beginning to the 19/20 League Two season starting every game so far, earning himself a new deal as at his boyhood Club.
Ling progressed through the Orient academy but left for rivals Dagenham & Redbridge in 2016, having not made a senior appearance in E10.
After three goals and 40 outings for the Daggers, Ling was brought back to Orient for an undisclosed fee in February 2018, by then Head Coach Justin Edinburgh.
Having made his English Football League debut against Cheltenham Town on the opening day of the season, the defender has been ever-present at the back and played a vital part in contributing to some of the goals going forward, earning himself a nomination for August player of the month.
