Colchester United Boss John McGreal has hyped up today’s fixture against Orient, telling The Daily Gazette ‘’This is a big game for us…it’s probably our biggest home game of the season.’’

The U’s may host Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur this coming Tuesday in the League Cup, but McGreal is completely focused on The O’s:

“Everyone knows that the Tottenham game is coming up but the boys all know about the importance of the Leyton Orient game,” added McGreal.

United’s Head Coach is fully aware of the travelling numbers, with 1,638 O’s fans set to make the trip to Essex.

“They’re a huge club at this level and they’ll come with a big following.  They are going to be a tough nut to crack – it’ll be a big (home) crowd and they’ll bring a big following, too.’’

Colchester have managed one home win in four attempts so far this season, whilst Orient have picked up five points on the road so far this campaign.

An away win could see Ross Embleton’s men up to 12 points, levelling today’s hosts in the table.
