Fans in the East Stand will be able to take advantage of a brand new bar tomorrow.
Bar ‘56, named after the year the GIPrint East Stand first opened its doors to O’s supporters, has been created in the former players lounge that has more recently been the Fans for Diversity Hub, which itself has been relocated to a more suitable location – the Club’s former boardroom.
Drinks available tomorrow will includeIcebreaker Ale, San Miguel, Guinness, Budweiser, Maelock cider and Skal dark berries cider along with a range of soft drinks.
CEO Danny Macklin said, “We’ve listened to supporter feedback and were keen to make the match-day experience in the GIPrint East Stand more enjoyable so we’ve been pleased to work with the Club’s Catering partners, British Event Catering, and the Club’s Official Pouring Rights partner, Greene King, to provide a number of draft options.
“Supporters will be able to head to the East Stand early on a Saturday and catch the lunchtime kick-off, when applicable, and spend some valuable social time in the build-up to the match.”
