LEYTON ORIENT travel to Morecambe THIS SATURDAY IN MATCH-DAY 17 OF THE 2019/20 SKY BET LEAGUE TWO SEASON. KICK-OFF IS AT 3PM.

Carl Fletcher claimed his first point as Head Coach of Leyton Orient last Saturday, drawing 1-1 with Carlisle United at the Breyer Group Stadium.

Josh Wright had fired Orient ahead from the spot, but an equaliser early in the second half denied the O’s all three points.

Morecambe fell to a 1-0 defeat to Stevenage at the weekend. Scott Cuthbert struck late in the game to claim only a second victory of the season for the Boro.

Jim Bentley resigned as Manager of the Club on Monday after eight years in charge, before being appointed the new Fylde Boss. Assistant Manager Ken McKenna and Goalkeeper Coach Lee Jones also handed in their notice at Morecambe.

Winger Kevin Ellison and goalkeeper Barry Roche have taken over first team affairs in preparation for the upcoming match, while the the Shrimps hunt for a new Gaffer.

 TEAM NEWS

Conor Wilkinson is available for selection this weekend after serving a three-game ban for a red card picked up against Walsall last month.

Sam Ling is fighting to be fit for Saturday’s encounter, as he recovers from a groin problem.

Myles Judd is a doubt for the game as he deals with an injury of his own.

The game comes too early for Lee Angol and Jobi McAnuff who remain unavailable.

Marsden has officiated ten games so far this season across a range of competitions. The man in the middle has taken charge of four League Two games to date this campaign, including Morecambe’s 1-0 away win against Macclesfield Town in August.

The official has booked 37 players, sent-off one man and awarded two penalties.

He last oversaw an Orient game back in April 2018, when Macauley Bonne, Josh Koroma and Jobi McAnuff all scored for the O’s, as they beat Gateshead 3-1.
