PREVIEW: BRISTOL ROVERS (A)

access_time 2 months ago

Leyton Orient travel to the Memorial Stadium on Wednesday to take on Bristol Rovers in the Leasing.com Trophy. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.

Having been out of action for over ten days, Ross Embleton’s side take on the Rovers in the second round of the competition.

Rovers, who are 9th in League One, drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle on Sunday in the Second Round of the FA Cup.

Liam Sercombe had put the home side in front, but a late equaliser from Antoni Sarcevic and a penalty save from Anssi Jaakkola in stoppage time means the tie will go to a replay.

A WORD FROM ROSS EMBLETON

“It’s going to be a tough game. They’re a team in good form and in a good place in the league right now,  so we know that’s it’s going to be a tough challenge to go there. We will be putting every effort in to prepare properly for that.”
