Fans will be able to access the Legends’ Lounge through a new route after full-time tomorrow thanks to the trial of a new entrance and exit scheme in the West Stand.
In recent months, access to the Legends Lounge on the second floor of the West Stand has been restricted to Legends Lounge ticket holders and hospitality guests for a short period after the final whistle to aid the safe departure of many Legends Lounge ticket holders and hospitality guests down the stairs. Fans from other stands have been held outside Main Reception during this time, with entry then allowed on a first-come, first-served basis.
From tomorrow, fans from other stands wishing to access the Legends’ Lounge post-match will be able to enter the West Stand via the stewarded fire escape doors, adjacent to the Ticket Office, a short while after the final whistle. This will allow fans to enter the Legends’ Lounge via one staircase, with fans exiting down via the main staircase and through Reception.
Once the rush has died down, the main stairs through Reception will resume as the main entry point to the Legends’ Lounge. This will also be the only exit route from the building.
Supporters are also reminded that the Ticket Office and Club Superstore will be open immediately after the game until approximately 6pm, whilst the Leyton Orient Supporters Club bar will reopen on the final whistle until 8pm.
