Jobi McAnuff Named Ambassador for FIT O’s

Leyton Orient’s Jobi McAnuff has been named as the ambassador for the new healthy lifestyles programme, FIT O’S.

FIT FANS is a free 12-week health programme for men and women aged 35-65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life. Delivered by Leyton Orient Trust at the SCORE centre, participants will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at The Breyer Group Stadium.

Jobi McAnuff, said: “I’m delighted to support FIT FANS – it’s a fantastic programme that has already helped thousands of people across the country. It’s great that we have FIT O’S to support Orient fans – and the local community – to lose weight, get involved in more physical activity and generally lead a healthier lifestyle. I look forward to meeting the participants and their seeing results of their hard work!”

Launched in January 2020 at 30 Clubs in England, the EFL Trust’s FIT FANS programme will be supported by over £2.25 million of National Lottery funding from Sport England and will aim to use the magnetism of football to tackle obesity levels in over 10,000 fans across the UK.
