There are just 10 days until the O’s are back at The Breyer Group Stadium and if you’re debating whether to come to our home game against Cambridge United on Saturday 7 March, here are 10 big reasons why we think you should:
The O’s come into this game on the back of a six-match unbeaten run in E10 which goes back to the start of 2020. Grimsby Town, Northampton Town, Newport County, Macclesfield Town, Mansfield Town and Oldham Athletic have all tried to claim all three points, but none have succeeded. Can we extend this run to seven against Cambridge?
Tickets for this game start at just £3 for Under-11s and currently go up to £20 for adults. Remember, tickets are cheaper in advance so make sure you secure your seat today and save yourself some money in the process.
World Book Day is on Thursday 5 March and pre-match on the Saturday we’ll be giving away free books and book vouchers to youngsters in the Qualiteach Community Stand, thanks to a partnership between Leyton Orient Trust, WHSmith and The Literacy Trust. Stay tuned for more details about this, closer to match day.
The atmosphere at The Breyer Group Stadium has been superb this season, with more than 5,000 fans cheering on the O’s each game. What’s more, with Cambridge likely to bring a decent following down the M11 we’re likely to see another lively afternoon in E10.
This game presents Ross Embleton’s men with the chance to do the double over the U’s. Orient won 3-2 at the Abbey Stadium back in December and they’ll be hoping to emerge with the same number of points in this reverse fixture.
There are plenty of things to do around the Breyer Group Stadium pre-match but one of the most popular is to visit our Supporters’ Club bar. It’s just £1 entry for non-members but you’ll always receive a warm welcome and a wide selection of guest beers and ales. Doors open from midday and you can always watch the early Premier League kick-off in here, whilst enjoying a great pre-match atmosphere. Elsewhere fans in the Q2W Tommy Johnston South Stand can also enjoy the use of their own bar pre-match and supporters in the Green Inc East Stand, Justin Edinburgh Stand or Qualiteach Community Stand can enjoy food and drink on their respective concourses too.
If you are visiting for the first ever time, please complete this form and we’ll make sure we give you and your family and friends a warm welcome over the stadium PA system pre-match and at half-time. What’s more, if you have a youngster who is attending their first ever O’s game – or even their first ever football match – please complete the above form and we will provide them with a First Time Certificate to mark this special occasion.
We’ve got some great O’s products at bargain prices in our Club Superstore. From firm favourites like replica home and away shirts to pocket money items such as sweets, pencil cases and cuddly toys for the little ones, we’ve got a wide range for you to choose from. Click here to purchase in advance and use our free Click & Collect service.
From traditional East End food such as Pie & Mash to more modern offerings such as loaded dogs, nachos and chicken wings, plus a Kids Meal Deal for our youngest fans, we feel there is something for everyone on our match day menu, including vegetarians, vegans and fans who are gluten-free. Take a look here for the full menu.
Here at The Breyer Group Stadium you’re close to the action. There’s no being sat miles back or in an upper tier peering down at players. At Leyton Orient you’ll be close to the pitch wherever you sit meaning you can really feel involved in the game.
Plus unlike many modern football stadiums, each stand here has a different feel and different characteristics that combine for a great mixture of the old and new. The Green Inc East Stand dates back to 1956 and gives fans sitting here a real sense of the history of the O’s, whilst the Qualiteach Community Stand is perfect for children and will allow you to sit with plenty of other young families. The Q2W Tommy Johnston South Stand offers superb views from a raised position and houses a friendly supporters bar underneath, accessible pre-match and at half-time, whilst the more modern Justin Edinburgh West Stand offers the best facilities in the ground and houses our corporate hospitality.
Tickets for this game are cheaper in advance, starting at £3 for Under-11s and £18 for adults. Tickets can be purchased now online at www.onlyoneorient.com*, in-person at the O’s ticket office (open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday) or over the phone on 020 8926 1010*.
