What does Stephen do?
As an account manager, Stephen Garner looks after a current customer base and also generates new business for the company, this includes generating opportunities for the other areas of the business portfolio that include – Telephony, Office Furniture, Stationery and LED Lighting. Leyton Orient were a new business client that he brought to the company after being invited to the Breakfast event with Kent Teague.
After the event and after learning more about the background story of the club, he was invested and wanted to work with the club in some aspect. This has since led to Ethos taking over the Managed Print and Telephony needs of the club and in turn Ethos becoming the Goal Of The Month sponsor and having a pitch facing ad board at the stadium.
What do Ethos most enjoy about being associated with the club?
Stephen personally loves the way the club makes you feel when you are at the club or at any event hosted by the club. They feel that they were a part of the Leyton Orient family from the outset which is something that is very important to them.
What is Stephen’s best memory so far?
“I have three best moments that stick out to me. Firstly, the first time I got to present the Ethos Goal of The Month award, it was a surreal feeling to be stood on the pitch handing out the award to Macauley Bonne and hearing my name called out over the stadium speakers. Secondly, would be the trip to Wembley for the FA Trophy final, it was amazing to see the support that Leyton Orient took to the game, just a shame the result didn’t go our way but a brilliant day out, nonetheless. Finally, my personal favourite moment was scoring at The Breyer Group Stadium in last year’s Sponsors’ Match.”
Finally, who is Stephen’s favourite player?
“Matt Harrold, I have always enjoyed watching him whilst being a part of the club. He always changes a game whenever he plays and offers the O’s a different option as the target man. I have also had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times before and after games and he always has time to speak to you, which as a fan of the game is very refreshing.”
