Partner Week continues today as we focus on more of the commercial partners that support the O’s off the pitch. First up it’s our Community Partner, Essex and Southend Sports Trust…

Who are EASST?

The Essex and Southend Sports Trust (EASST) provides charitable grants in support of sport and in particular football and cricket. The geographical area in which it operates is strictly limited to the County of Essex (including the unitary authorities of Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock) and the London Boroughs of Havering, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, Newham and Waltham Forest.

The charity was established in 2002 and has made sporting grants since inception in excess of £1.5million.

The charity expanded operations into East London in 2017 and is pleased to be able to provide support to the community operations of Leyton Orient Trust.

There will be a bucket collection in support of EASST before O’s home game against Exeter on Saturday 25 April and we hope you will give generously to allow the Trust to further expand its activities.

More information about what EASST do can be found on their website at
