Additional cleaning measures this Saturday

In light of the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak, the Club would like to advise fans of additional cleaning measures in place for this Saturday’s home league game against Cambridge United.

Working with our partners and external catering company, all bars and catering units across the Breyer Group Stadium will undergo a more extensive clean ahead of Saturday. Cleaners will also be on site on matchday, cleaning door handles, handrails, switches and responding to other areas when required.

Supporters are encouraged to follow the latest public health advice on how to protect themselves from infection. The campaign advises the public:

Do

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • always wash your hands when you get home or into work
  • use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
  • try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

Don’t

  • do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

Posters reminding supporters of this public health advice will be up around the stadium on matchday and will accompany social media posts and tannoy announcements.
