What is Mark’s best moment so far?
“Not our promotion back into the Football League – although that was a great afternoon. No, it was taking 200 Orient Supporters to France for 3 days to visit the Somme Memorial dedicated to the Orient Pals – such a sacrifice and such a horrendous event back in 1916 which was remembered and so greatly appreciated by all the Orient fans who travelled. That was very special”.
“Another magical moment, and one that could only happen at the Orient, was our team coach pulling over on a busy motorway to stop and rescue a stray dog and then through the power of social media, be able to reunite it with its’ grateful owner later on at the training ground” – There is indeed no other club quite like Leyton Orient!”
Finally, who is Mark’s favourite player?
“It has to be Dean Cox.”
