Our Front of Shirt Partner is one of our two assets that gain the most exposure here at the O’s, and we continue to strive to be creative and think big to gain more exposure.

As a club we like to think outside the box to support our partners and their KPIs. Here are just a few examples:

Case Study: The EnergyMind Third Dugout

EnergyMind are a new charity focused on mental health within the energy sector. Their focus is exposure and awareness. Together we created the EnergyMind Third Dugout, where fans get to experience the game whilst sat pitch side in the EnergyMind Dugout. Within a month the Third Dugout was sold out and we now have a waiting list for next season of over 60 group bookings. EnergyMind’s social media followers have grown rapidly, which has been supported by the club’s messaging around competition/ fan giveaways and key messaging from EnergyMind.

We then looked at how we could add even more value to the EnergyMind Third Dugout and secured a partnership with Papa John’s UK, who became the Official Pizza Supplier. At half time every home game, the Papa Johns delivery bike arrives at the Breyer Group stadium and rides across the front of the GI Print stand to deliver 8 sizzling hot pizzas to our guests in the dugout.

Papa Johns UK wanted to be part of something new and different and as soon as they heard about this initiative they quickly signed up and joined the O’s family. One particular video captured during our home fixture against Newport County went viral across the internet with over 1.2 million views and also received coverage across a wide selection of news channels.


This idea originated from our Media Team whose original intention was “a small FIFA tournament whilst there are no fixtures being played”.

Within 24 hours of launch, our QUARAN-TEAM tournament had reached all four corners of the world and we are still only in the early rounds of the competition now.

  • 128 teams signed up from 4 continents and 16 countries, including Australia, America, Holland, France, Ireland, Scotland and Portugal with some big name clubs getting involved, such as Manchester City, Ajax, Sydney FC, and DC United
  • Within the first 48 hours of launch, our Twitter followers had grown by 25,000
  • Within the first 4 days of launch, we had received 46,000,000 Twitter impressions
  • Our profile visits are currently up by 1,204%
  • Mentions are currently up by 336%
  • Coverage on TalkSport, Sky Sports, BBC 5Live and various other channels across the globe
