Leyton Orient have linked up with eSports gaming league Virtual Pro Gaming (VPG) to launch the club’s first official eSports team for FIFA 20.
The O’s will join a host of clubs on the platform, including Cardiff City, QPR, Plymouth Argyle, Oxford United, Wigan Athletic, Rotherham United, Rochdale, and many more.
VPG is the home of thousands of Pro Clubs FIFA 20 players from all over the world with The O’s now set to face many of their domestic rivals following a trial period to select our squad.
The platform for the game is FIFA Pro Clubs – meaning 11 players are needed for each match day squad – which is where you come in.
The trials for a number of positions will begin next soon, so keep an eye on our newly formed eSports Twitter account.
For now, should you be interested, you should message the eSports Twitter page with the following information:
Following the trial period, players will be informed whether they have a place in the team. All players will need to register to the VPG website when they have been accepted into the club.
The Official Esports team will be entering into the VPG Leagues, with the matches played on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, kicking off between 8-9pm.
