After meetings with management this week, Goalkeeping Coach Reece Ottley and Sports Scientist Emma Baughurst will be leaving the club.
Director of Football Martin Ling was keen to praise the work they had done in their time at the club, and wish them all the best going forward.
“Starting with Reece, a big thank you goes to him for all of the work put in over the last two years.
“He has done a great job, but the fact Dean Brill joined the coaching team meant we had to make a decision, and Dean’s experience won the day here.
“Reece will move onto pastures new, but it’s nothing to do with his ability, more down to the circumstance.”
“For Emma, she’s been with us for five years, and indeed since the day I walked in.
“She’s done a great job in this period, but in the current economic climate I’ve had to reduce numbers of staff, and unfortunately Emma was one of these casualties.
“We wish Emma all the best in the future with whatever comes next.”
The news follows on from Leyton Orient’s retained list for the 2020/21 season, which was released earlier in the week.
