With today’s announcement from the EFL regarding the curtailment of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two campaign, we recognise that fans would have purchased Season Tickets, match tickets and hospitality to the remaining games.
Upon receiving the news from the EFL, Orient CEO Danny Macklin said: “Matchday income plays a critical role in helping to achieve our objective of being a sustainable, successful and community focussed football club. We fully appreciate that some fans will require a refund and we will of course honour those requests where required.”
At this moment in time, due to the cancellation of the season, the club is expecting an increase in operating losses of approximately £1.5m. We therefore urge all fans to carefully consider, if they can, to play their part in helping the club during these unprecedented and difficult times.
Whilst giving his statement following the EFL announcement, Danny Macklin added: “As a Season Ticket holder in 2019/20, you showed your continued dedication and commitment. We haven’t forgotten your loyalty and we are deeply sorry that we can’t bring you the final four home league matches to enjoy at the Breyer Group Stadium. Moving forward, we are acutely aware that many fans including season ticket holders have already paid to see the final matches of this season, so we are happy to present you with 4 options for you to consider.”
Nigel Travis, LOFC Chairman has outlined: “On behalf of the board and everyone at the football club, we fully support the EFL’s decision that they communicated today. We have estimated that the financial impact of not completing this season will be substantial and will potentially include refunds totalling over £250,000.”

We are pleased to confirm that Season Ticket Holders who select OPTION 1 will be entered into an exclusive Season Ticket Holders’ Prize Draw where you can win money-can’t-buy prizes including signed replica shirts, hospitality and accommodation at an away game in the 2020/21 season. All junior fans who choose OPTION 1 will also be entered into an exclusive prize draw to win a signed shirt from the whole first-team squad. *Please note your refund amount will depend on when you purchased your 2019/20 Season Ticket last year and that refunds could take up to 21 days to be processed, depending on volume. As we do not store payment details on file, our team will contact you to request bank details so refunds can be processed.
Anyone who has purchased a match ticket for any of the remaining 4 home games and/or 6 away games of the 2019/20 season also has four options made available to them. As a club, we urge as many fans as possible to take advantage of the first three options.
Please note that if you have purchased more than one match ticket, whether that be for home games, away games or both, you only need to complete the survey ONCE to register your selection. You DO NOT need to complete the survey multiple times if you have purchased more than one ticket.
Please also note match ticket refunds will not include the booking fees or any postage fees that were applied. To successfully trace match ticket purchases, we will also require you to supply your booking reference, which is the 8-digit number at the bottom right of your ticket.
Those who have purchased matchday experiences, such as hospitality packages and mascot packages, will be contacted by a member of our staff separately.

If you do choose claim for the full refund of your away ticket(s), you may be required to return your ticket(s) to Leyton Orient Football Club. Once you have completed the above survey, we will contact you to let you know if this is a necessary step.
Since the release of our 2020/21 Season Cards in March, which are frozen at League 2 prices, over 1,500 fans have taken advantage of our early bird offer so far, saving between 5% and 20% on the price of their card.
