Club Stakeholder Event To Take Place

As a Club we are keen to explore new ways to engage regularly with all stakeholders of Leyton Orient Football Club.

Today we are pleased to announce details of our first LOFC Stakeholder event. This will take place via Microsoft Teams on Friday 13th (sorry!) November between 7-8pm.

At the first meeting we will have a very informal agenda:

  • Introductions and objectives of new Stakeholder events
  • The impact of COVID on the Club
  • Streaming – we invite fans to provide their feedback, suggestions and how we can further expand our audience
  • The return of crowds – what we are doing to make this possible (when government rules allow)
  • Season Card Holder value
  • General Q&A – an open forum to raise queries / suggestions etc.

In attendance will be:

  • Nigel Travis – Chairman
  • Danny Macklin – CEO
  • Martin Ling – Club Director of Football
  • Neil Taylor – Leyton Orient Trust CEO
  • Supporter Liaison Officer
  • Jake Cook – Marketing Executive
  • Luke Lambourne – Media Manager

    • Leyton Orient Supporters Club
    • Leyton Orient Trust
    • The Orient Hour
    • Orient Outlook Podcast
    • Pandamonium Fanzine

Additionally, we invite fans to nominate themselves to enter a random ballot to attend the event – we will select 6 fans to attend. Interested fans who wish to enter the ballot and can attend the virtual event on Friday 13th should email [email protected] with the following:

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Daytime contact number
  • Length of time as a fan
  • Whether a Season Card Holder or not
  • Stand usually sat in
  • Please state if disabled – see below
  • Confirmation you are happy attending with the event being recorded for circulation to fans

Furthermore, as the Club seeks to improve its offering to disabled fans we will randomly select 2 disabled fans to attend the virtual event.

We will notify successful applicants by email and encourage those fans to gather questions and feedback from fellow fans prior to the session.

Danny Macklin, CEO added, “As a Club we take pride at being one of the most engaging football Clubs in the EFL. During the COVID-19 crisis this has become even more vital. We plan to be as open as possible and invite fans to enter the ballot to attend. We will make the recording available for wider circulation to fans after the event.
