As the young O’s are without a EFL Youth Alliance fixture this week, the O’s take on Queens Park Rangers’ youth side in a friendly.
Brian Saah’s side face an interesting test this weekend, as they take on a Category Two side in their latest fixture.
Following the FA Youth Cup defeat, Saah told leytonorient.com that his side needed a response in their next fixture against Gillingham and was ultimately happy with their most recent performance.
Antony Papadopoulos’ incredible strike helped level the scores against the Kent-based side and the manager spoke, following the game, about the importance of building momentum.
“Yes, I think it’s important that first and foremost that we had a response and we had a reaction, I think the boys did that. Now, we just need to take that momentum and kick on,” Saah said in his post-match interview.
In their last outing, QPR’s youth side lost 5-4 to Birmingham City and will look to right the wrongs from their recent defeat.
