London Lockdown Measures Sees Orient Back Behind Closed Doors

Leyton Orient’s home fixtures at the Breyer Group Stadium will revert to being behind-closed-doors.

This comes following the announcement today that London would be placed in Tier 3 lockdown restrictions from Wednesday.  The ballot for this Saturday’s home game against Crawley Town is therefore suspended.

“Naturally, we were looking forward to welcoming fans once again this weekend to The Breyer Group Stadium,” said Chief Executive Danny Macklin

“Whilst disappointed in the short-term, the team will continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure that, when possible, we are ready to open the gates once again. I would like the opportunity to encourage every Orient fan to subscribe to our enhanced streaming service, spreading the word to friends and family. This important income stream at a time of little else really is vital, and much appreciated.”

“I would also like to thank fans who were fortunate enough to attend on Saturday for their co-operation in adhering to the COVID-19 measures taken.”

The Club Superstore will remain open – including a late opening on Thursday 17th December until 7pm – perfect for late Christmas shopping!

For those unable to come to the store in person, Wednesday 16th December is the last day for fans to get online orders with guaranteed delivery before Christmas.

Supporters should keep up-to-date with the club’s website, for any further announcements. The streaming passes for the visit of Crawley Town will go live on Wednesday afternoon.
