In what will be our last fixture before the two-week Christmas break, the Leyton Orient under-18s will travel to Stevenage for their next EFL Youth Alliance fixture.

In our most recent outing, Brian Saah’s side recorded an emphatic 4-2 victory over MK Dons, with four different Orient men managing to find the back of the net.

Although Saah expressed his delight for the victory following the game, the under-18s manager highlighted some key areas where he wishes to improve ahead of our trip to Stevenage.

“We can still be better defensively,” Saah said post-match. “We’ll continue to work on that but we’ll also continue to exploit the good players that we have upfront. So, overall, there is a lot to still work on but we’re ready to kick on in the next game.”

The O’s previously took on Stevenage on the 31st October and suffered a heart-breaking 5-2. With this loss fresh in the memory, both Saah and the squad will look to right the wrongs from their previous meeting.

This fixture will kick off slightly earlier than usual, as the referee will look to get the game underway at 10:15 on Saturday morning.
