McAnuff has been in fine form in the heart of The O’s midfield, with his standout performance coming against rivals Southend United.
His second half free-kick gave The O’s the lead, before his inch-perfect assist for Conor Wilkinson wrapped up a brilliant night for The O’s.
Both goals were nominated, as well as James Brophy’s strike against Newport and Danny Johnson’s brilliant finish away to Morecambe. The Skipper’s free-kick was the eventual winner though, with 38% of votes in his favour.
A crucial assist also came from the captain in the 2-1 home win against Newport County, nodding the ball onto danger man Danny Johnson to net an equaliser – before Brophy’s late winner.
Next up for The O’s, it’s a trip to league leaders Carlisle United – with a 1pm kick-off set for Saturday’s game.
