Ross Embleton will return to the dugout having isolated over the festive period and he will be keen to see his team replicate performances that earned six points and kept two clean sheets.
The O’s will be out looking for revenge against the Shrimps, after December’s 2-1. Danny Johnson had fired Orient ahead but two second-half goals flipped the game in Morecambe’s favour.
Morecambe come into the match on the back of a 4-0 pounding from Chelsea, in the FA Cup. That is unlikely to dampen spirits though; The Shrimps sit 8th in the league table, a point above Orient, with two games in hand.
The North-West side finished last season 22nd, but Derek Adams has his side firing this season and was recently awarded December’s Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month.
In their last league fixture, Carlos Mendes Gomes bagged a brace and Adam Phillips completed the scoring in a 3-1 win against Grimsby Town.
The latter is on loan from Burnley and has contributed to 10 goals in 19 league games.
