3C Sealants - Getting to Know

If you don’t already know our club partner 3C Sealants, take a read of our catch-up with them below which included an exclusive offer on their products for O’s fans…

Who are 3C Sealants & Sealants Online?

We’re a distributor of specialist construction products, based in Chingford, just off the North Circular Road.

Sealants Online is our internet shop where we offer click & collect or delivery to the whole of the UK, Ireland & Channel Islands for the whole of our product range.

3C Sealants is our own brand of innovative products available to buy in-store and online.

Our main business name is County Construction Chemicals Ltd. Many local trades still know us as County Mastics as this was the original name we used when we first started up as mastic application contractors in 1971 and for many years after that.

What does Sealants Online sell?

As the name of our internet shop suggests, we have a heavy focus on sealants of all kinds. From unique, brightly-coloured bathroom and specialist natural stone silicone sealants; to weather-proofing frame sealants and heavy-duty, tinned 2-part floor mastics.

We also crossover into hundreds of other relevant ranges such as adhesives, tapes, foams & fillers, waterproofing materials, wood care & repair resins, many waterproofing products and fire protection.

How are 3C Sealants & Sealants Online involved with Leyton Orient FC?

We have a partner sponsorship deal with Leyton Orient FC with both pitch-facing and crowd-facing ad boards for our 3C Sealants range at selected points at the Breyer Group Stadium and sponsor key players for the season (this season 20/21 it’s Lee Angol and Daniel Happe.)

We’re also proud to feature as sponsors for various matches and match balls throughout the season with the opportunity to use the 3rd dugout and 1881 suite to entertain our staff and clients etc.

Why & when did 3C Sealants & Sealants Online get involved with Leyton Orient FC?

Our director, James Hurley, has been a lifelong supporter and season ticket holder for 15 years. Along with the marketing team, he was actively seeking to invest in a local, relevant outlet for some advertising projects so we first agreed a sponsorship package with the O’s for the 2018/19 season.

What are the best experiences you as a company have had being associated with LOFC?

We were extremely fortunate to have pre-chosen to be the match sponsors of the last game of the 18/19 season on 27 April 2019, as the O’s held Braintree Town to a 0–0 draw securing promotion to League Two as champions of the National League.

It was an absolute delight to be part of this truly deserved milestone with a huge celebration after the game both on the pitch and in the 1881 suite where we were entertained and got to celebrate with the players and their families!

We must also mention, the following season on the 27th January 2020, we were match ball sponsors at the home game against Newport County in the Justin Edinburgh stand as it was officially opened. Having our logo printed on the front of the programme and being seated next to Justin’s family, it was an emotional and poignant game which we were humbled and honoured to be a part of.

Who is your company’s favourite Leyton Orient player?

As mentioned above, we were part of a memorable day at the Breyer Group Stadium and as match ball sponsors got the opportunity to name the Man Of The Match to which we deservedly awarded it to Ousseynou Cissé who had only just joined the O’s on loan that week and played outstanding on the day.

After being released from that particular loan spell, he rejoined the O’s once again so we’ll go with him as our favourite player

What effect has the pandemic had on the working relationship since March 2020?

We decided early on in the pandemic that we’d certainly ‘do our bit’ and continue our investment to assist in the club’s survival and future success and worked closely with Head of Commercial, Josh Stephens to ensure we were still involved for both 2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons, both of which we renewed our contract and agreed packages for the seasons.

“We are extremely grateful to 3C Sealants and Sealants Online, when the 2019/20 season got brought to an abrupt curtailment, around 70% of the package was still to be delivered. Not only did they renew for the 2020/21 season but they agreed to keep the spend at the same as the previous season. I really enjoy working with the team and look forward to working with them for many seasons to come.” Said Head of Commercial Josh Stephens

Of course, it’s not ideal that the crowds aren’t allowed in and so too our corporate games are not accessible to our staff and clients but we had new boards designed and installed in 2020 and continue to work closely with the excellent social media team behind the scenes at the O’s to increase our brand awareness and promote our business digitally via their website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, we as a company remain committed to support and follow our local club and look forward to better times in the near future.

Does www.sealantsonline.co.uk have any offers for Leyton Orient FC fans?

Our online store has many fantastic, competitive price breaks in place for differing quantities of products but we do run discounts and freebies from time to time.

We’d like to offer all O’s fans a free pack of our popular cleaning wipes with every purchase made up to £249 net using the code: LEYTON at checkout or alternatively a free heavy duty Tajima blue sealant & adhesive gun with every purchase made over £250 net using the code: ORIENT at checkout.
