PREVIEW: Carlisle United (A)

access_time 4 months ago

Jobi McAnuff’s Leyton Orient will look to follow up Saturday’s win against Newport, with yet another victory on the road.

The hosts, Carlisle United, will be keen to bounce back on Tuesday night, having suffered a 3-1 defeat to Stevenage at the weekend.

This fixture was postponed back in February because of a frozen pitch.

The Cumbrians

Carlisle currently sit 11th with 48 points, one point above Orient, however, The Cumbrians have a two-game advantage on the O’s.

In recent matches, Chris Beech’s side have struggled to find consistency – winning just one match in their last eleven.

Centre-back Rod McDonald will be missing for United, having picked up a red card against Stevenage.

The Officials

Referee: JAMES BELL
Assistant Referees: Matthew Parry and Paul Graham
Fourth Official: Peter Wright

This is the first time Bell has officiated a Leyton Orient fixture. The referee has officiated 25 games so far this season, booking 71 players, sending-off seven and awarding eight spot-kicks.
