Celebrating VE Day with our latest charity partner, Tommy Club

access_time 4 months ago

Saturday 8th May 2021 marks 76 years since Victory in Europe, and Leyton Orient is proud to have commemorated the week with the announcement of our home shirt charity partner, Tommy Club.

This partnership has been made possible through the continued support and sponsorship of England Captain and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

The Tommy Club Race to Victory Relay ends its 800-mile journey in Aylesford today, having made a stop at The Breyer Group Stadium on Thursday afternoon to celebrate the partnership. We look forward to welcoming more Tommy Club champions and beneficiaries to the Club next season.

This VE Day, we remember all those who served to win our peace and who gave the greatest sacrifice for our freedom. The O’s are particularly proud of our partnership with Tommy Club given our history with the Armed Forces, and today also remember the three Clapton Orient players who gave their lives at the Battle of the Somme in World War One: Richard McFadden, George Scott and William Jonas.

To find out how you can support Tommy Club this VE Day, visit the website here.

You can also pre-order the O’s 2021/22 home shirt now and we are pleased to announce that 10% of the proceeds from each shirt sale will be passed to the charity.

To purchase yours, please visit the Leyton Orient online store by clicking here.

Please be aware your payment will be debited upon placing the order and not at the time of dispatch. Please also be aware that your order will be dispatched in its entirety upon receipt of shirts by the Club. If any other items within your order are required urgently, we advise you to make a separate order.
