Club To Host Memorial Day in July

access_time 3 weeks ago

Leyton Orient will host a memorial day at the Breyer Group Stadium, as we pay tribute to those we have lost.

Since the start of the pandemic, our doors have had to close, and during this time, we have lost wonderful people close to our hearts.

The memorial day will be a chance for everyone to pay tribute to these people, in a place special to so many.

This will take place on Sunday July 4th at the ground, with the stadium open for fans between 11.30am-2.30pm.

A special service will take place, with Club Chaplain Alan Comfort, which will start at 1.15pm.

For this service, we are encouraging supporters to try and make this as special and personal as possible.

With this in mind, we would like you to submit names and photos of loved ones, song requests with special meaning, and voice recordings of your memories.

The voice recordings will be played at the ground, and we encourage you to get in touch with your cherished memories of those who have passed, whether they are Orient last-minute winners together, or something away from football.

We will incorporate all of these into our service, as we pay tribute to those we hold dear in our memory.

To submit any of the attached for the service, please use the Google Form here.

If you need any assistance in this, please contact [email protected]

Further details will be communicated in due course for fans, such as entrances and logistics on the day.
