WILKINSON SET FOR WALSALL

CONOR WILKINSON HAS LEFT LEYTON ORIENT FOLLOWING THE EXPIRY OF HIS CONTRACT, TO JOIN WALSALL FC.

The 26-year-old forward was offered a new deal to keep him in London, but he has decided to join The Saddlers.

Wilkinson made the switch to Orient from Dagenham & Redbridge in the summer of 2019. In two full seasons for Orient, he scored 20 goals, 15 of those coming last campaign.

“Thanks to all involved with the club, my time was short but sweet!”, said Wilkinson. “The last two years have been the most enjoyable of my life and I really felt at home. The staff, the lads and the fans made me feel welcomed from day one and I’m forever grateful for that.”
