The Road to August 7th - Club Update

Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s press conference yesterday evening, the Club has issued the following important update.

With lockdown restrictions now due to ease on July 19th, we look ahead to the start of the 2021/22 season on August 7th as the Club works to make the return of fans as safe and comfortable as possible.

The Club has today extended the deadline to renew Season Card seats from Wednesday 30th June to 10pm Thursday 15th July. We have already comfortably surpassed 2,000 Season Cards sales and we feel reassured by Boris Johnson saying he was “confident” that this would be the final pushback of lockdown easing.

If however, any matches at The Breyer Group Stadium are played with a reduced crowd next season, Season Card Holders will be prioritised when filling the allotted capacity. In the case of league matches being played with a reduced crowd, a replacement stream will be provided to all Season Card Holders who are unable to attend the match in person.

The Club would again like to thank fans for their continued support, especially those who have already secured their Season Card for next season. Those who are yet to purchase their Season Card are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Information on the application process for renewals and new purchasers can be found here.

Chief Executive Danny Macklin has stated: “I firstly want to thank the large number of Season Card Holders who have already renewed or have ordered a Season Card afresh for the 2021/22 season. We have set a target of reaching 4,000 Season Cards for the fast-approaching 2021/22 campaign and we are counting down the days until we can welcome supporters back to The Breyer Group Stadium.

Works continue to take place behind the scenes to further improve the matchday experience for all”.

The Club will issue a further update regarding ticketing arrangements for pre-season friendlies.
