The JE3 Trophy | Leyton Orient v Tottenham Hotspur

Leyton Orient host Tottenham Hotspur in The JE3 Trophy this Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.

The O’s come into the match having already played two pre-season matches. A 3-0 loss to Dundee came midway through a productive camp in Scotland, before an impressive 0-0 draw and performance against West Ham last Tuesday.

Adam Thompson will be unavailable for Kenny Jackett’s team and new signing Harry Smith will miss out as he continues rehabilitation for a recent knee injury, though he hopes to return to training soon.

A minute’s silence will be held prior to kick-off for former O, Dave Dunmore.

New Head Coach Nuno Espirito Santos will take charge of Tottenham for the first time this Saturday.

Spurs will bring several household names to The Breyer Group Stadium, all of whom will be keen to impress their new manager.

The likes of Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg will be resting having competed for their respective countries at EURO 2020.

The friendly will be dedicated to former Orient Manager and Spurs player, Justin Edinburgh, as well as the hard work of The JE3 Foundation. Both teams will compete for The JE3 Trophy, currently held by Leyton Orient, following last year’s 6-2 victory.
