Following the relaxation of restrictions, Chief Executive Danny Macklin has explained how supporters can continue to help to make the Breyer Group Stadium a safe place to watch football.
“Through the past 17 or so months, football has simply not been the same,” said Macklin.
“It’s given everyone a renewed appreciation of the importance and energy that fans bring to every game.”
“From Saturday 31st July when we welcome Gillingham to The Breyer Group Stadium we will have measures in place to keep fans as safe as possible.”
“We strongly encourage fans to arrive early for games and, for those who are not medically exempt, to continue wearing masks especially in busy areas such as the entrances and concourses.”
“Most importantly we urge fans where feasible to conduct a lateral flow test prior to travelling to the stadium on each matchday. By taking such measures we can hopefully continue with welcoming back fans in numbers in the weeks and months ahead. ”
“Here’s to an exciting, entertaining and safe season ahead.”
