This Christmas, Mind CHWF are encouraging people to give the gift that keeps on giving. A regular gift of just £8 a month could help two low-income clients avoid homelessness, by funding a session with a welfare rights advisor.
Making a recurring gift in a loved one’s name is also a great way of showing them you care this festive season: follow this link to set up a recurring gift.
Mind CHWF are currently recruiting runners to take part in the largest half marathon in East London to help raise funds for life-saving mental health services. Run through the streets of our local community which will directly benefit from your support and fundraising.
As an independent local charity, Mind CHWF’s work depends on fundraising and all money raised goes directly into supporting the community.
Tickets can be purchased here – use code ‘ORIENT’ to get a free ticket!
This 30-day movement challenge aims to get people up and moving, and to raise funds for mental health. Registrations are open until March for you to choose an exercise and fundraising goal – whether you dance, swim, walk, skip or all of the above, you choose how you want to get active to raise money, knowing that while you’re starting a new healthy habit, you’re joining the fight to campaign for better, more equal mental health services for all.
Participants who raise £50 will get a t-shirt, and those who reach £150 in funds receive a t-shirt and a medal. Follow this link to sign up!
