Bywaters

Club Partner: Bywaters

Bywaters is London’s leading sustainable waste management company, serving the UK for over 60 years. We provide safe, secure and efficient waste and recycling solutions, helping organisations to better manage their waste. As well as sending zero waste to landfill, we work closely with every client to increase their recycling rates and improve sustainability.

Bywaters is a family-owned company with a history of providing waste management services from our facilities in Leyton and Bow. In this time, we’ve learned what works and what doesn’t in terms of improving our customers’ sustainability, and we draw on all our experience to provide efficient solutions for every contract we take on – from a household skip to a multinational business.

Being based in Leyton since 1952, we have had close ties to Leyton Orient for many years. Our long-term partnership has helped increase sustainable awareness within the local community and in the stands. It means a great deal to us to be able to support a club which does so much for the local community in which we have been based for over 60 years. Giving back to the community is a fundamental part of Bywaters’ culture, and it is great to be aligned with a club with the same values.

Meet the Partners

Ben Beagley, Senior Marketing Manager

What do you like most about being part of the Leyton Orient family? Being part of a group of fans and businesses forming a community. Leyton Orient are an amazing club to partner with: from the local charity work and shirt sponsorships to the way the Club is run, it’s great to be involved.

What is your favourite memory involving the O’s? In 2018, we had the chance to walk out on the pitch before the game. It will be great to see the stadium full again – bring on 2021/22!

If you had to describe the O’s and Bywaters in the same 3 words, what words would you use? Passionate, aspirational, community.
